Our birthday present to Curtis was to go up to Lake Tahoe for 4 days and sled and ski. Rose had her first ski lessons ever and was a champ! Unfortunately, Curtis, while sledding, injured his knee pretty badly, which resulted in being off of soccer for about 3 months, as well as physical therapy. We did have a blast!

It looks like the kids had fun. I am sorry to hear about Curtis' knee... of course, people in their 40's have to take it easy! (haha - I only get to laugh at those jokes for a couple more months!)
The funniest thing is that the hill he decided he "had" to go down, was the one all the other adults were calling dangerous...of course as soon as I heard that I knew he would be going down and most likely would be injured - it happens every time he has to try something no-one else is doing when we are on vacation :)
